COVID-19 Information
At the Bozeman Clinic, we care about your health, safety, and overall well-being and are taking the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. Following are the steps we have implemented to keep our patients, staff, and community safe:
- We are recommending that you keep your Wellness visit and/or Well Child Exam with your provider so that important health screenings and immunizations may be done as planned. However, if you or your child is ill with mild cold symptoms that do not need the attention of your provider, please reschedule.
- We are performing phone screening for COVID-19 to determine if testing is appropriate and are not seeing persons with symptoms of COVID-19 in the office.
- Questions you will be asked are as follows:
- Do you have a fever or symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of sense of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea?
- Have you been in close contact with a person known to have a positive COVID-19 test?
- If the answer is yes to either of these questions then we may schedule a telehealth visit for you, send a COVID-19 test order for you, OR advise that you go to a designated COVID-19 treatment site (Bozeman Health Viral Triage Clinic or Urgent Care, Bozeman Health Belgrade Clinic, Bozeman Health Emergency Department, Big Sky Emergency Department) depending on the severity of your symptoms.
- If no to all of these questions then our clinical staff will advise you about your particular health situation.
-
Per CDC guidelines for healthcare facilities, everyone that enters our office over the age of 5 is required to wear a mask or face covering, including staff and patients.
- We are following CDC Guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing protocols.
- As a private independent clinic located on the hospital campus, we want to do what is needed in order to comply with visitor and vendor restrictions on the Bozeman Health campus.
- Therefore, if you are sick, please do not visit or accompany a patient to their visit, and do not enter the care site or clinic except to seek care for yourself.
- Only one visitor or companion of a patient may accompany the patient if medically necessary.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses, you can take simple steps to protect yourself and your family:
- Stay home if you’re sick
- Avoid contact with sick people when possible
- Cover your cough and sneezes with the crook of your elbow or a tissue
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth and wash your hands frequently
- Clean and sanitize frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe often
- Tell your healthcare professional about your recent travel or contact history.
- Stay tuned for updated information from the CDC.
